Land and Houses Plc recently presented 1,020 copies of its “ho2me” publication to a variety of agencies to serve as educational media for interested parties.A total of 730 copies were given to Loei’s Department of Learning Encouragement, which would pass them on to the Chaloem Ratchakumari Public Library in Loei, a Loei public library, an amphoe public library under the department, tambon non-formal education offices, and community reading centers.For the benefit of interested parties and service users under the department in Loei, “ho2me” reached the following amphoe:Mueang Loei, Wang Saphung, Chiang Khan, Dan Sai, Nong Hin, Erawan, Phu Luang, Phu Ruea, Phu Kradueng, Pha Khao, Pak Chom, Na Haeo, Na Duang, and Tha Li.Land and Houses also gave 200 copies to the Mirror Foundation in support of the foundation’s activities under its national reading project, 70 copies to TK Park for educational purposes at the park as well as among its network, and 20 copies to Thammasat University for educational purposes as well as students’ research.
Produced by Land and Houses, this 171-page hardback publication deals with 12 concepts influencing lifestyle choices of the new generation; lifestyles embracing multiple attitudes; home decoration techniques; furniture care techniques for the likes of wood, rattan, and fabric; unconventional residence decoration; techniques for garden care around residences; DIY for selected crafts; techniques for fostering a lively community around residences, and many others.It is Land and Houses’ hope that the publication will prove helpful to students and the public that are intrigued by houses.
